Searls Library concentrates on the history of Nevada County and the Gold Rush. It has collected and catalogued 22,000 photographs. Also available for research are original documents, newspaper clippings and books. On your visit to the library, you will also be able to see furniture from the Searls Law Firm dating from the 1800s.
