The wrestling season is coming closer with each passing second, and all the wrestlers are working hard. Coach Brandon Surrency is anticipating the season to be a great one. He feels that this season is going to be a much improved season than what it has been the previous years. The guys have worked hard this off-season, and he is very proud of the effort put forth by the wrestlers. He feels the effort will show as they pursuit fro the state championship.
He believes in their coaching staff with Coach Stall and Coach Hatty, as they are some of the best heavyweight coaches in the state.
The team is returning two state finalist and did not graduate anybody last year. The team has improved in many areas to increase their chances of winning.
They attended several camps over the summer to practice and touch up on some parts to eliminate openings. They went to Oklahoma State and trained with one the best coaches in college. He thinks the team definitely has what it takes to win.
