On The Playground

The first Grade students have been practicing their spelling skills. They did great and all of them got a excellent grade on the spelling test.

They all went to the Firehouse. They really had a good time and learned many things.

The pictures show the students having some reading time, and also show them at the fire listening carefully.

The Kindergarten class learned about fire fighters and fire safety rules during Fire Prevention Week. They were thrilled to visit the fire station and go though the smoke house.

Shaynne Williams is pictured during our fireman relay as she puts out the house fire and saves the baby!

The Begindergarten class spent some time in the classroom learning about fire safety. Then they went on a field trip to the Fire Hall. They even got to go in the ambulance!

"It was awesome!" said Amy Sebern.

The second graders went to Swifts' Pumpkin Patch to enjoy a little presentation about the growth of the pumpkins. They were allowed to pick two pumpkins to take home.

They visited the Fire Hall. The students toured the fire hall as well as listening to presentations. They went through the Kid's Fire escape smoke house.

The second graders learned about the life cycle of a plant. They planted seeds, and studied the growth of the plant.
