JH Region participate in Choir Band Festival

Burke High School students went to Platte on November 21 to participate in the Choir and Band Festival. For band alto sax was Lucas Eastlund; French Horn was played by Jasmine Klein; Taylor Serr played Trombone; and Gunnar Stephens, Taylor Even, Bridget Bartling and Brogan Glover played trumpet. The choir festival had six students attend: Tristan Massa, Mason Peck, Savannah Geaghan, Kate Weborg, Adisyn Indahl and Bella Menkens.
Students Attend HS Region Band and Choir

This year the High School Region for Band and Band was in Gregory on November 27. This event had 7 students from Band and 16 students from Choir attend.
Teah Serr played flute; clarinet was played by Heidi Gonzalez and Megyn McCarthy; Santanya Matucha played trumpet; alto and baritone sax was played by Ramee Hanson, Lahna Matucha and Lacey Person.
From Choir went four Sopranos: Caitlyn Dummer, Alison Hoffman, Sierra Swan and Tressa Bull.There were also four Altos: Taylee Indahl, Sally Hakin, Sammy Bull and Skyla Hosselkus; Tenors: Hunter Falk, Frank Even, Allie Stangle and Elijah Evevette; and Basses: Brock Karbo, Casey Claussen, Hunter VanNievenhuyse and Tucker Even.
