New Instructors and Students Attend Burke School

The band and music program are a little different this year. This year we have new teachers, Mrs. Stephens teaches band and elementary choir. Mr. Rose teaches the middle school and high school choir. Mrs. Stephens hopes to add a wider variety of music and make it exciting.
This year the high school choir and band are combined with the Bonesteel high school choir and band. They are not sure yet how the concerts are going to happen but they hope to have a concert in Bonesteel.
The Burke school received a new telescope the first week of the school year. It was donated to the school by Michael and Liz Horlick. They wanted to donate in memory of Liz's grandma, Mamie Trautman why previously taught at the school. The school hopes to have a viewing after the football game October 13.
