Help a Student with Angel Donations
Coins Collected for Caring Coins

Due to the Hurricane Harvey disaster in Texas, our elementary students wanted to find some way to help. The teachers asked the students to bring some spare change and the students responded very well. The money that was collected will be going to Humble Middle School.
Principal, Mr. Otten, contacted principal Sarahdia Johnson from the Humble Middle School and she was grateful and said she would accept our donation. The total amount collected was $709.07

Angel donations is a project where members of the community and Burke School Staff donated $800 to family meal accounts. These donations are anonymously added to family food service accounts for a student to purchase a second entree, breakfast, or Ala Carte item. This was initially made for just during the Christmas season, but the staff decided to make the donations throughout the whole year.

Annual Punt, Pass and Kick Held
The annual Punt, Pass and Kick event was held after the Homecoming Parade on September 15. Winners were announced at halftime of the Homecoming football game. The winners were: 6-7 Girls: Emerson Swan; 6-7 Boys: Dru Otten; 8-9 Boys: Taos Weborg; 10-11 Girls: Paige Bull; 10-11 boys: Kol Otten; 12-13 Girls: Jasmine Klein; 12-13 Boys: Jaden Swan.
