The Second

Graders Will Rock School

Out Of This World

The class have been learning about

plants in science. They are investigating

what they need to grow, as well as

watching how they grow and learning

about the parts. They also got first in the

Homecoming parade.

The 3rd grade class is taking part in a

School Service Project entitled

"Keeping it Klean." The goal is to teach and

role-model for the students what

stewardship is and what it looks like.

The class, so far, have learned valuable

lessons such as cleaning up after ourselves,

responsibility and commitment, and of

course lending a helping hand and

teamwork.

The fourth grade is showing their tools

from the Buffalo Trunk they are renting

from the Cultural Heritage Center in

Pierre. Hide, horn that was carved in the

spoon, dung, bones made into an awl, a

f fleshier, arrow, bladder, hooves, teeth are

some of the things that are in the trunk.

The 5th graders are now in middle

school football. They are also in middle

school volleyball. The fifth graders are

just now starting to be in band. There are

7 girls in middle school volleyball, and

there are 6 boys in middle school football.
