Lady Cougars Keep Their Regular Season Winning Streak Alive at the Boyd County Triangular

The Lady Cougars Varsity Team played in the Arlington tournament on September 9. The Tournament was held in Arlington's High School Gym. They played a total of 5 games.
For their first game of the day, they played Elkton. The Lady Cougars won in three close and exciting sets. They lost the first set 27-29, but came back and won the last two, 26-24 and 25-13.
The second game they played against Warner and lost in two sets, 11-25 and 23-25. The Lady Cougars won their third game in two sets against Deubrook, 25-17 and 25-21.
Hamlin was the Lady Cougars fourth opponent of the day. The Lady Cougars won in two sets, 25-20 and 25-18.
The team played Arlington for their last game of the day. They started out strong winning the first set, 28-26, but lost the last two sets, 18-25 and 20-25. The Lady Cougars came out of the tournament 3-2.
This year the Lady Cougars came out strong at the Boyd County Triangular. The teams that were there were Boyd County, Stuart, and Burke/South Central. It was held in Spencer on September 14.
The Lady Cougars played Boyd County for their first game and won in two sets, 25-21 and 25-15. Lahna Matucha had the most digs for this game with a total of seven.
Stuart was the Lady Cougars second opponent of the night. The Lady Cougars took it to them and won in two sets, 25-8 and 25-18.

Lady Cougars Get a Victorious Win Over Bon Homme

The Lady Cougars played Platte-Geddes in Burke at the high school gym. The game was played on September 19. The Lady Cougars won the first set, 25-14. They also won the second set, 25-17, but lost the third set, 23-25. The Lady Cougars came back and won the last set, 25-11, and finished strong.
The JV won in two sets. The scores were 25-20 and 25-12. The C-Team lost their first set, 20-25 and won the second set, 27-25.
The Lady Cougars won in a clean sweep over Bon Homme on September 21. The game was held at Bonesteel at their high school gym. The scores for the varsity game were 25-12, 25-15, and 25-18.
The JV team won in three sets. The C-Team also won in three.
The Lady Cougar Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to Kimball for the KWL Tournament on September 23. The Tournament was held at Kimball's High School gym.
The Lady Cougars played Jones County for their first game. They won in two sets, 25-8 and 25-15. The Lady Cougars next opponent was Freeman. They also won against Freeman in two close sets, 26-24 and 25-22. The girls played Kimball White Lake for their last game of the day and lost in two sets, 23-25 and 19-25.
