Cougars Run in Beresford

The team traveled to Beresford on August 25 to compete in their first meet of the season. Kray Person placed 3rd, Jackson Liewer placed 21st, Lacey Person placed 26th and Brecken Bolander placed 13th in the junior high division.
The times were: Kray Person- 17:14; Jesse Williams- 24:38; Jackson Liewer- 18:46; Washake Vaughn- 20:56; Keith Hoffman- 22:56; Garner Burrus- 14:10; Nicholas Nelson- 12:57; Kasper Schonebaum- 14:47; Cody Williams- 14:01; Lacey Person- 23:06; Jolene Vaughn- 23:55 and Brecken Bolander- 14:00.
The team ran their third meet in Scotland on September 9. The girls team placed 4th and the boys team placed 3rd. Kray Person placed 1st, Nicholas Nelson placed 9th with his best time, Tyson Mayer placed 13th and Washake Vaughn placed 14th. Anna Zara got her best time and placed 9th, Lacey Person placed 13th, Jolene Vaughn placed 19th and Brecken Bolander placed 20th with her best time. Garner Burrus, Kasper Schonebaum and Cody Williams got their best time. Piper Hansen also ran the 3k getting 13:55 and placed 5th.

Cougars Travel to Scotland

For their second meet, the Cougar team traveled to McCook Central Montrose on August 28. The girls placed 6th and the boys' team placed 2nd. Kray Person placed 2nd, Jackson Liewer placed 8th with his best time, Tyson Mayer placed 18th, Anna Zara placed 21st and Jolene Vaughn placed 23rd with her best time. Keith Hoffman ran his best time.
