FORTY AND FORWARD
AT 40, OUR GREATEST LEGACY IS OUR PEOPLE.
Our 3,386 graduates, who are inspired by altruism and accomplished in all medical specialties.
Our faculty and staff, who inspire compassion and excellence in patient care, and
whose research and community initiatives have resulted in diagnostics, treatments,
policies and programs that have improved the lives of patients and their families.
And of course our students, who bring out the best in all of us
with their drive and self-sacrifice.
“Our people” also includes our partners, who, for the past 40 years, shared the same vision to lead in the development
of more primary care physicians who would address some of the most pervasive medical needs in our communities.
Training the next generation of physician leaders has taken the knowledge, focus, hard work, funding and time of many
individuals, organizations, hospitals, health centers, federal and state agencies, and more.
We appreciate the generosity of those who have made possible our success over the past four decades. Thanks to our
partners, we have a solid foundation for our future education, research and community care programs.
