The [ Youth Missionary
Training Center ] is being established in Arequipa . Young people of Peru will be equipped with the Gospel and the fullness of the Holy Spirit so that they can expand the Kingdom of God as missionaries . The Holy Spirit planted this new mark during the past year as we were praying .
The Hanhee Kim World Mission Center ’ s [ Children of Jesus ] ministry began in Peru in 1998 with the purpose of sponsoring and supporting the hungry and underprivileged children .
Now , God has commanded the establishment of the youth training center to train Peruvian youth to become mighty servants of God .
During a long period filled with prayer , the Holy Spirit has designated the city of Arequipa as the location to establish the training center and this past June , He provided two buildings to used free of charge . One building is from Pastor Jose of the Casa Hogar orphanage and the other came from another orphanage director , Sharron Hall . As we witness the two people ’ s precious dedication , we cannot deny the fact that God is inviting us to join in His awesome work as He already has provided everything for us .
The training course is a sixmonths . The first 12 weeks will be centered on theology and the next 4 weeks will be hands on field practice . The missionaries in training will then be sent out to remote areas of Peru for the remainder of their training . After the entire training process , they will complete the full 24 weeks training for graduation .
“ So after I have completed this task and made sure that they have received this contribution , I will go to Spain and visit you on the way ” -Romans 15:28-
Additionally , we are in the process of preparing an 8-week special course for students who need or want a more in-depth training . The youth admitted to the program will receive full scholarships and will be required to stay at a dormitory facility .
It is almost impossible for us to imagine what our Father God wants to accomplish through the Youth Missionary Training Center , because the size of the work of God cannot be limited by human thoughts or imagination .
However , we believe , without a doubt , that God will raise up the Peruvian youth as missionaries to evangelize to all the nations . We have witnessed the work of the [ Children of Jesus ] ministry that began eighteen years ago in one church with a few children that today has expanded to tens of thousands of children .
Our next steps include building renovations and waiting for God to send faithful teachers who will train and prepare the young people , and the young people who are ready to dedicate their life to God .
Of course , we believe that God will provide all these in His time but we are continually seeking the voice of the Holy Spirit through our prayers .
Please join us in prayer for missionaries that will obey and follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit to advance the Kingdom of God into the remote areas of Peru and South America , and going through Rome to Spain .
