Guille remembers a specific Monday . That morning , before the three children headed off to school , their mother had prepared for them a yogurt and bread for breakfast . After they finished their special meal , Sandra shared with them how much she loved them and how she knew they would be together for all of eternity . Sandra gave them a tight hug .
Guille and his family started to convulse and they collapsed on the floor . Sandra had poisoned the family breakfast . The pain was too much for Sandra to continue her life . It was by the grace of God that a neighbor walking by heard the commotion and called the paramedics . Luckily , the entire family was saved , but their mother lost her children and her sanity .

Tt is 8 am on Saturday morning . Guille woke up early , took a longer shower , put on his best clothes , and sat by the gate eagerly expecting his mom .
10 am , 12 pm , 2 pm , 4 pm . Nothing .
Guille runs over to look at the clock , it is now 5pm . His mom did not come . Guille goes to his bed and cries in silence . This is not the first time , nor was this the tenth time . Guille has spent the first Saturday of each month for three years silently crying into his pillow .
The next few months were a blur to Guille , who was five at the time , as all the brothers were taken to the Casa Hogar orphanage . The three boys were shy at first but they soon found comfort with the other orphans . Although Guille has learned to love God and is grateful that the staff of the orphanage loves him as their own , Guille has a reserved space in his heart just for his mom . Sometime later , Sandra located her three children and visited them .
Guille couldn ’ t contain his excitement , with tears in his eyes , he hugged her for as long as he could . He was excited to share with her what he has learned in school . Guille showed off his reading and writing skills and wanted to write letters to his mom while she was watching him .
Guille led his mother to see a sign attached to the main gate which reads , “ Open Visitations on the first Saturday of each month from 10 am to 5 pm .” Guille tells his mom that she can come those days to see him and his brothers .
