With a name like “Ontario’s Sunset Country” we create big
expectations from visitors regarding our sunsets and yes, we
can deliver on those expectations! Whether it’s the fact most
of our sunsets happen over a Boreal forest landscape, a shimmering lake (or both) they will never disappoint! While most
visitors come during the summer months, our sunsets (and
sunrises) are fantastic throughout the year. Fall seems to be

The wonderful thing about a Sunset Country sunset is that
while you may be here to go fishing, hunting, canoeing or for
whatever reason, the sunsets are always “included” with the
package (well as long as it’s not raining). When we speak to
people about their trip after it’s over, they often talk about the
big fish or the big bull-moose but for many, the daily sunset
