Checklist for a Successful Hunting Trip in Sunset Country Item # 2 - Ammunition You are allowed to bring in up to 200 rounds of ammunition into Ontario with you. The ammunition should be stored separately or locked up. It can be stored in the same locked container as the firearms. Item # 3 – Transporting Firearms Your firearms must be properly encased and a secure locking device, such as a trigger lock or cable lock, should be attached so the firearms cannot be fired.
