Stampede
Of Love in
Lexington Kentucky

T

here was a Stampede of Love a few weeks ago
in Lexington Kentucky. Stampede of Love is a
Raleigh North Carolina based Animal Assisted
Therapy group. The end of October we packed up
our trailer and headed to the Kentucky Horse Park
for several days of Breed Demonstrations and special
events to showcase the versatility of the American
Miniature Horse.
Stampede of Love was established in 2002 by Tara
and Mary Needham and focuses on the use of our
small herd of Miniature Horses in therapeutic, educational and various volunteer activities across the
country. We have been extremely fortunate to
have participated in a variety of events over the
years, so when the opportunity arose to visit the
Kentucky Horse Park, we could not pass it up.
