But such is not the case this issue! Once the annual meeting ended Sunday morning in Tampa, ideas, thoughts and plans have kept each of us in the AMHA office working at a fevered pitch. It appears a general revitalization of the AMHA has begun, and there are exciting times ahead for the organization and the breed. One significant activity that apparently needs recognition are the Miniature horses used in therapy situations. The interest and popularity of using Minis for all types of therapy have skyrocketed. Individuals and groups have become certified through Pet Partners who now have 295 teams of Miniatures reaching thousands in need all over the country. As the interest continues, the AMHA hopes to offer a Therapy Horse of the Year award through the Mini Hours Program, now in its second year. AMHA celebrates the six, 500 Hour awardees and the three, 100 Hour award winners enrolled in the Mini Hours Program, and each of them are featured in this issue (page 32). Where else can you garner great prizes just for spending time with your mini? Enroll today (www.amha.org/ programs/mini-hours) so you and your horse can be featured in a MHW issue! Show se \
