She has taken what many might refer to as a living legend, Champion Farms Nighthawk, and making him a force to be noticed as a broodmare sire. His daughters have and continue to produce champion after champion. They are much sought after in breeding programs worldwide. Janet has taken her syndicated stallion, First Knights Billy Idol into top rankings in the AMHA Futurity, showing her support for that program in multiple facets. Excellent breeding and wise management have put her and her “boys” on the leading edge of the industry. Her co-owned, third stallion named the 2014 Supreme Halter horse, TG IMA Country Boy, will likely be no less successful under the tutelage of Janet. If you know an AMHA Member deserving of this distinguished “A” Award, nominations are accepted from November 1 through December 31 of each year. Nomination forms can be downloaded online at www.amha.org. The “A” Award is presented during the AMHA Annual Meeting and Convention.
