Success in her breeding program is unmatched and speaks for itself. She has taken
what many might refer to as a living legend,
Champion Farms Nighthawk, and making
him a force to be noticed as a broodmare sire.
His daughters have and continue to produce
champion after champion. They are much
sought after in breeding programs worldwide. Janet has taken her syndicated stallion,
First Knights Billy Idol into top rankings in
the AMHA Futurity, showing her support
for that program in multiple facets. Excellent
breeding and wise management have put her
and her “boys” on the leading edge of the industry. Her co-owned, third stallion named
the 2014 Supreme Halter horse, TG IMA
Country Boy, will likely be no less successful
under the tutelage of Janet.

What makes Janet a stand-out member is her
steadfast devotion to the breed and the association itself. When there is a need for the
World magazine to fill a cover, Janet is there
to support the overall financial bottom line
of the AMHA. Not seeking the limelight,
but doing what she can, offering sponsorships or whatever is needed, whenever it’s
needed, again, setting an example for us all.

acquainted with Janet King and have continuously found her to be a woman of strong
character, possessing a high level of integrity,
not only in her personal life but in the matter in which she conducts business with her
highly successful farm of Miniature horses.
She is an excellent example of truth and
