mini scoop Skip to My Lulu Awarded the USEF/Equus Foundation Horse Stars Hall of Fame J ust three short years ago MHW featured the heartwarming story of Skip To My Lulu and her owner Aimee Schulz. The story of Lulu picked up momentum when Aimee’s article was awarded in the American Horse Publication’s annual contest and many more people soon learned how this sweet mare overcame many physical and emotional obstacles with the help of her fourteen year old owner. AMHA is thrilled to announce that Skip To My Lulu has being inducted into the USEF/ Equus Foundation Horse Stars Hall of Fame for her impact on the horse industry as a humanitarian and breed ambassador. Those at the Equus Foundation and USEF fell in love with her story of love, hope, perseverance, and trust as Lulu transformed from a one-eyed ‘unadoptable’ rescue to a top competitor in the show ring. However, her largest impact has come from being a therapy horse, lesson horse, and through her demonstrations as a representative of the Miniature Horse across the Midwest. Skip To My Lulu is the second AMHA Miniature Horse to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Strebor Black Magic On Demand or “Magic” from Gentle Carousel Mini
