Moreover, she continues to demonstrate her enthusiasm for new ideas and possibilities as the Associate Vice President for Technology and Enterprise Development at the New Jersey Innovation Institute (NJII), a New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) corporation. Established in 2014, NJII applies the intellectual and technological resources of the university to challenges identified by industry partners bringing the power of academics, business and government together to solve the challenges of the marketplace. In addition, Sheft is managing the HealthIT Connections program that is supported by funding from JPMorgan Chase to assist entrepreneurs in the HealthIT space to accelerate their revenue and job growth through executive coaching and cluster development activities. She is also involved in economic development having responsibilities for management of NJIT’s high technology business acceleration/incubator, the Enterprise Development Center, and the Procurement Technical Assistance Center. Sheft serves on the Board of Advisors of the NJIT Murray Center for Women in Technology and, since 2007, is a member of the NJ-Israel Commission.
