Top 10 Things You Should Know About 1. Martensville is located eight kilometers north of Saskatoon – less than a 10 minute drive to Saskatoon. 2. Martensville is the fastest growing city in Western Canada, home to just over 9,000 residents, 75% of which are under the age of 45. 3. North Prairie Developments, D&S Homes, and North Ridge Developments are all active builders in Martensville. Construction of the new Lake Vista community by North Ridge is underway. The new neighbourhood will contain 1,100 residential units will provide housing for up to 3,000 new residents. 4. A recent survey conducted with City residents found that quality of life, friendly people, small-town atmosphere and proximity to Saskatoon are the top reasons people love living in Martensville. 5.
