child’s teacher whenever you feel it is necessary. A parent-teacher conference will be scheduled for all parents during the first 9 weeks. Parents may also log on to the Home Access Center (https://parentaccess.ebrpss.k12.la.us/) to follow a student’s progress. Assignments, projects and test results may be found here throughout the year. If you do not have login information, please contact Ms. Nunnery (Primary) or Ms. Bradford (Intermediate). They can assist you with this. The grading period is 9 weeks with a mid-term report going home in the middle of each. EBRPSS has written a Pupil Progression Plan. Progress reports are sent during the mid-nine-week mark so that you have knowledge of how your child is performing at this point. At the end of the nine weeks, formal report cards are sent home. Grading Scale: A 100%-94% B 93%-85% C 84%-75% D 74%-67% F 66%-0% Supplies & Supply Fee You will receive a list of supplies. It is necessary to bring supplies to school on or prior to the first day of classes. Please remember that some supplies are consumable (crayons, paper, glue, etc.) and will need to be replenished throughout the year as necessary. There is also a mandatory $25 supply fee collected from each student. These fees are used to replenish classroom materials, festival materials and purchase planners and folders. This fee is due on the first day of classes. TEXTBOOKS, LIBRARY BOOKS AND SCHOOL PROPERTY All textbooks, equipment, library books and materials are on loan to students. Students are expected to return these items in good condition. As per EBRPSS policy, each pupil and guardian is responsible for the items issued to them. If they are lost or damaged, the guardian is financially obligated. Please encourage your child to take care of their books and to keep them covered. State Law requires that books be covered. 20 BR FLAIM PARENT/STUDENT HANDBOOK
