Parents must deliver the medications to school personally and will need to sign for and count the medication each time. The school will not administer a “missed” morning dose. The parent will be called to come to school and administer the missed medication. The school can only give medication as instructed on the Physician’s Form. All food allergies must be reported to the office, the teachers and the cafeteria. If special modifications must be made for food, a physician’s note must be provided for the cafeteria manager. PARENT-TEACHER ORGANIZATION (PTO) BR FLAIM faculty and staff believe that students need the cooperation of parents and teachers to help develop the “whole child”. All parents are encouraged to participate in the PTO at BR FLAIM. The group maintains a Facebook page (Baton Rouge FLAIM). “Like” this page to keep up with events and updates. PTO officers for 2016-2017 are: President, Claire Pittman Vice President, Carlos Thomas Secretary, Heidi Sonnier Treasurer, Christina Yi Communications Director: Brooke Clarke Our PTO represents everyone, so everyone is encouraged to participate by attending general PTO meetings, serving on committees, and volunteering to work in the school.
