MORALE GENETICS

By Sam “GryGhost” Abbott

On October 7 a young black man in Los Angeles was arrested after he shot and killed a police officer execution style at point blank range. Two Sheriff Deputies responded to a burglary call where he shot one deputy and stood over him as the other officers approached. This will be seen as a victory for BLM activist. And they will be crying about police brutality and then this incident will lose its spotlight and be over shadowed because some other punk decided not to follows instructions of another office of the law or robs a 65 year old woman because he needed a new pair of Nikes for school. I'm not being a bigot this is a touchy subject, I’m upset that once again another officer has fallen in a very senseless and brutal way. I keep hearing the reports from the BLM activist preaching about white privilege and how they have are denied these privileges. I'm not afraid to admit it I'm poor, I stretch a dollar until it screams for mercy. I believe the only privileges or opportunities that anyone is denied are the ones that get left on the table. Racism is bad because people of all colors have learned how to point fingers. Instead of making plans to improve, we blame for actions and create bad situations all over actions that happened long ago. I understand the diversity of the inner cities. It's similar to the grudges held between the Hatfields and the McCoys. Held over generations for so long the reason behind had long been forgotten. Unfortunately the reasons for racism have been pondered on and its revenge and vengeance are now riddled with untruths and massive amounts of hate. I have lived in public housing since 2012. Small, uncomfortable, not overly well maintain complexes. Lived among the other lower income residents that had no other choice but to live there. Now I can't fault anyone for the amount of money they have in their pockets, is what it is. But where I do find fault is the advantages that some take in place of their denied missing privileges. You name it, I have seen it. It has been so bad the county police, who were responsible for patrolling the complex, rarely showed up, and often passed the buck to the local police, who didn't want to take any responsibility in any legal matters to do with altercations at the county ran complex. Drugs, physical abuse, prostitution, child neglect, destruction of county property, theft of county and personal property, vandalism, and the list goes on. I witnessed a great deal of lack of caring, mostly because of retribution for the lack of privilege. The sad thing is that most of these people put themselves in these situations and kept digging the hole until there wasn't a ladder long enough to rescue them. The basic lack of responsibility is shocking. Worse, they defend the right to be this way. One excuse after another to allude to why they are in the situation they are in. Not once do they ever stop and say "well I wish I would of never done this, it messed things up for me." It's always somebody else's fault. Penning this will probably stir up a hornets nest with some of my followers. I admit that it isn't this way in all cases but in some areas has become status quo. I speak the truth from what I have seen, things I have witnessed and not just been around where I've lived. I have seen examples of this all around. Watch the news. Watch the news, look at Facebook you will see it over and over again. Recently a 65 year old home owner shot a teenage robber. The other day I seen a post that contained a video about a 65 year old black woman that shot a robber that was robbing her home. It's on Facebook, and probably Youtube by now. Find the post, listen to the woman that was interviewed. She is a relation to the young man who was robbing the woman. The woman that was interview talks about this young man like he should be receive a Nobel Peace Prize. She spins the web and turns the tide and tries to make him into the victim. She stated that "this is what kids do, so that they can get clothes and stuff for school, what are they supposed to do?" Now, let's get serious for a moment. When I was a kid I stole a pack of chewing gum. Dang near lost the knuckles on both hands over that. For why? Teach me a lesson that STEALING IS WRONG! KILLING PEOPLE, WRONG. The morale education our children are getting (not from the schools) but from the street, and regrettably from at home, is fostering these types of actions. This is happening to the point that it has almost become genetic. Bad traits becoming bad habits equals bad examples. I have a two year daughter, she is a mimic. I'm ready to tie my tongue in a knot and super glue my lips shut. She picks up all of the really good word, if you know what I mean. Filtering what comes out of my mouth has become a very huge effort. I'm understand, I get it, it's hard. But it's not rocket science. It's not supposed to be the Bad, the worse, and the Lawlessness. Our children have been exposed to the riots across our nation in one fashion or another, the news, our own conversations, at school and they are starting to get it. They need to know that this is not acceptable. Games like Grand Theft Auto don't depict real life this isn't how we act behind the wheel, nor how we act in public. It's become genetic due to the lack of teaching our children the meaning of what is truly right and wrong. To say please and thank you, Mister, Sir, Mam, Missus, or Miss. Don't talk back and to definitely that hurting or killing people is not right. Cooperate with Policemen and women. Our country has got worse. The last 8 years haven't helped at all. Many things simple things triggers riots for no reason. We need to unite and look past our differences and the so called privileges. Anyone can do anything they set their minds to. I believe this in my heart and pray that our nations comes to rest. Please help me remind everyone that this is our nation and it was founded.....FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, so that all men can derive their just power from the government and be equal as one.
