Brent Thompson
Originally from Corsicana, TX, and a recent newlywed, Brent
was a calm and down-to-earth father and grandfather who
loved his family and worked hard to provide them a better life.
Prior to joining the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority in 2009,
he was a graduate of Navarro College and served his country
as a Marine for several years and also worked an international
police trainer who mentored Iraqi and Afghan police. He had
also worked for the Navarro County Sheriff’s Department and
the Corsicana Independent School District Police Department
early in his career.
With DART, Brent patrolled the Northwest sector. This included
Lewisville, Carrolton, Farmers Branch Irving and Dallas.
