Ryan Hernandez
My junior year, by far, has been the best year of my time at Shaw. From the beginning, it has been nonstop fun, entertainment, and good memories. The year has had several high points such as going to Washington DC for the National History bee, having Mr. Canzoneri for US History, and so on. As I am about to enter my senior year, I look back and am able to appreciate what brought me to this point.
My time on the newspaper staff has been particularly great because of the people and environment that has made the class what it is. The newsroom always has our group telling jokes and stories while still doing everything we had to do. I enjoyed writing for this paper as well as in The Times Picayune, telling the stories aboout Shaw to the world. It has been a highlight of my high school years, and I look forward to doing even better on the news crew next year.
