OUR COMMUNITIES
LIBRARIES
The area has two public libraries—Chatsworth Branch Library, located
at 21052 Devonshire St., and Porter Ranch Branch Library, located at
11371 Tampa Ave. With cutbacks all across the board, the libraries greatly
depend on the Friends of the Library, a group of volunteers that assists the
library and its staff through fundraising activities and educational outreach
to community members.
• Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, which features an urgent
care center, pharmacy, state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services, a
women’s wellness center, and physician offices.
• UCLA Health, which is a multispecialty practice with top-quality
physicians providing primary and specialty care. All of the doctors are
board certified in their fields. All are UCLA Medical Group members
accepting most insurance and hold faculty teaching appointments in the
David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
