Individually , the doubles duo of Stomlega and Lutzeier earned ITA All-American honors by finishing the season ranked No . 2 in the nation . The pair went 23-2 this Spring in doubles and went 5-2 against nationally-ranked doubles teams during the dual match season .
Lutzeier adds All-American singles honors as well as she finished the year ranked No . 4 in the nation after going a spectacular 28-1 this dual match season , with 11 wins over nationally-ranked opponents .
Leon earned All-American honors for her worked in doubles play , making her the first Lady Cougar in program history to garner All-American recognition in four straight years . Leon was an All-America singles selection in her first three seasons .
The senior wrapped up her stellar four-year career with an 86-19 record in doubles play and 69-10 in singles . The Lady Cougars posted a 91-19 overall record during Leon ’ s time at CSU .
Lopez made history of her own this season , becoming the first freshman in Lady Cougar history to be named an All-American in both singles and doubles . The Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year exploded onto the scene in her first season , turning in an 18-2 overall mark in singles play and pairing together with Leon for a 17-6 mark in doubles .

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS , Fla . - The No . 5-ranked and two-time defending NCAA Division II national champion Armstrong State University women ’ s tennis team is back into the national semifinals after picking up a 5-2 win over No . 15 Midwestern State on
Thursday morning at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs , Fla .
The Pirates ( 26-4 ) are making their 19th appearance in the national semifinals and the 10-time NCAA Division II national champions will have to get through No . 2 Barry - 5-4 winners over top-ranked BYU-Hawaii on Thursday - to earn a berth into the national championship match . The national semifinal will take place at 9:00 a . m . on Friday . Midwestern State sees its season come to a close with a 20-5 record .
Armstrong State took a 2-1 lead heading into singles play with wins at No . 1 and No . 3 doubles . The No . 2-ranked doubles duo of Lena Lutzeier and Diana Stomlega defeated Bianca Duff and Maddy Coffman , 8-2 , at No . 1 doubles , while Alice Patch and Tamri Chalaganidze collected an 8-6 win over Greta Lazzarotto and Ashley Ramirez at No . 3 doubles . Midwestern State picked up a doubles point at No . 2 dobules as Daria Panferova and Eirini Kontaki beat Tatjana Stoll and Lenka Styblova , 8-4 .
In singles play , the Pirates won three singles matches in straight sets to clinch the match . Stoll defeated Kontaki , 6-1 , 6-0 , at No . 2 singles , while Chalaganidze downed Lazzarotto , 6-2 , 6-3 , at No . 5 singles . Midwestern State notched a point at No . 4 singles as Coffman beat Patch , 6-4 , 6-4 , but Styblova clinched the match with a 6-4 , 7-6 ( 5 ) win at No . 6 singles .

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS , Fla . - The fourth-ranked Columbus State University women ’ s tennis team needed just two hours to dispatch 35th-ranked Mercyhurst 5-0 Wednesday morning . The NCAA Round of 16 match was played at Sanlando Park .
