A three-year starter, she leads the conference in hitting
percentage (.344) and ranks third in points per set (4.3), fourth
in kills per set (3.50), fifth in points (475.5), seventh in total kills
(389), tied for seventh in solo blocks (16), tied for ninth in service
aces (38), 10th in service aces per set (0.34), and tied for 15th in
total blocks (81).
She was named a first-team 2016 All-Conference performer
and was selected to two All-Region squads, as well as garnering
PBC All-Tournament Team recognition. She finished her career
with totals of 991 kills, 296 total blocks, 272 digs, and 141 service
aces, in addition to a .300 hitting percentage – the highest career
total in 18 years.
Boone becomes only the second Academic All-American in the
history of the FMU volleyball program, joining Jessica Bartlett,
who garnered the honor in 2005. Boone was also the lone PBC
player to make this year’s Academic All-America squad.
Boone is a graduate of Hidden Valley High School.

second-team honors from the D2CCA.
Armstrong State’s Raegan Grooms was also named an AVCA honor-
able mention.
Davis is the second All-America selection the Flagler program has
produced. Olivia Snipes, a setter, earned third-team honors in 2011.
Katie Beale (2009), Meg Weathersby (2010) and Dianna Craine (2011-
12) earned honorable mention honors.
“I am honored to be selected as a third team All-American,” said
Davis. “I couldn’t have done it without my skilled and supportive team-
mates, Coach Matt (Affolder) and all my friends and family who have
been rooting for me. Volleyball is beyond a passion, it’s become a part of
who I am.”
The Akron, Ohio native is a two-time AVCA All-Southeast Region
selection (2014-15) and is a three-time All-Peach Belt Conference hon-
oree. This year she was a first-team All-Southeast Region and All-PBC
pick after finishing second in the league in total blocks (109), third in
hitting percentage (.332), fourth in block assists (90), fifth in kills (414)
2016-17
