2015 • Season OUTLOOK
Grace Williams will see considerable time in
many of the Huskers’ lineups this season. The
Linden, Mich., native brings strong experience on
many events and has the potential to break into
several lineups.
Before Nebraska
Williams has trained under coaches John
and Kathryn Geddert at Twistars USA alongside
teammate Kamerin Moore for the past five years.
A level 10 gymnast, Williams is a three-time J.O.
National Championships qualifier with three allaround crowns to her name. She had an amazing
showing at the 2014 J.O. National Championships
as she placed second on floor, third on beam,
seventh on vault and first on bars rounding
out her third all-around national title. In 2011,
Williams took home the Nastia Liukin Supergirl
Cup after finishing second on bars, fifth on vault
and first on beam and floor.
Personal
The daughter of Rob and Amy Williams, Grace
was born March 26, 1996 in Adrian, Mich. She
has two brothers Jordan and Cameron. Grace
graduated from Brighton High School in 2014 and
was a four-time letterwinner in academics. She is
a special education major at Nebraska.
