MS instincts 2013 randi kennedy What motivates you to live this lifestyle? First off, knowing that living a healthy and fit lifestyle is the best thing that has ever happened to me, it has taught me so much about myself, and I honestly can’t put a price on how amazing it makes me feel. I’ve found my passion and I’m motivated to go the distance living this lifestyle because it makes me feel alive. I have dreams that are so big and I am determined to not let them be JUST stay dreams! I’m determined to make my dreams come true, and I am willing to put in the work to get there. I have learnt that ANYTHING is possible with hard work and determination. Fitness has taught me what hard work is! I have also discovered that I am so much stronger than I thought! All of this keeps me motivated to be the best version of myself. What would people say is your best instinct or attribute? My dedication and optimism. I’m known for my work ethic and always having a positive mindset. What advice do you have for models starting out in this sport? BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!! If you think you can achieve something, you will! If you doubt yourself and think you can’t - you won’t!!!! The best advice I have is to believe in you, and NEVER give up on yourself. If you had a friend that doubted you and gave up on you constantly, you wouldn’t be friends with that person! So don’t do it to yourself. Also, know physical fitness takes TIME. Results don’t happen over night, so stay consistent! Put a timeline on your goal and do what you can to meet that goal! When I decided to do my first fitness competition I prepped for 1 year! That was the perfect amount of time in my opinion. Plan your goal, give yourself the right amount of time, and set yourself up for success!! If you were dropped on an abandoned island for 1 week what 3 things would you bring with you and why? Number 1. My cellphone (hopefully I would have reception) that way I can still talk to people - AND CALL FOR HELP! Number 2. A set of Dumbbells, so I can still get my workouts in! Number 3. A sleeping bag!! Because I wouldn’t be a very happy camper if I had a terrible time sleeping… I’m assuming I would have tons of time to sleep! 40.
