ZELLIN LOWE A longstanding member of the Freeport Community, Miss Zellin Lowe is the true picture of a community spirit! Her love for connecting with people of all backgrounds led her to work in the beauty industry as a hairdresser for many years before her retirement. This was after her first entrepreneurial venture as a co-owner of the Dixon's Table restaurant on Main Street in Freeport. Miss Zellin, as she is affectionately known, is a member of the memorial Presbyterian Church in Roosevelt where she has fervently served in a number of ministries. It was at Memorial Presbyterian Church that Miss Lowe first encountered the founder of Your Time For Creative Empowerment, Inc. "I was drawn to volunteering with YTFC as a result of the special qualities the founder possesses. She is able to relate conscientiously and empathetically to people around her, and gives her all to helping children and their families" Diane Lucas, Esq. Diane Lucas is an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the New York State Attorney General in the Civil Rights Bureau. There she works to enforce the civil rights of all New Yorkers. Diane was motivated to work at the Attorney General’s office after working as a public defender at the Legal Aid Society, where she represented poor people accused of crimes. At Legal Aid, Diane witnessed the gross racial disparities in the criminal justice system; the collateral effects of mass incarceration and the rampant civil rights violations. Diane has a Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School, and a Bachelors of Science in Economics from New York University, where she graduated with honors. She is also an active member of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Incorporated. Anita Marco Anita Marco is a partner at The Print Cafe Inc., a complete marketing, printing, sign, promotional, website design and an apparel company. She has devoted 20 years of expertise in the printing industry, combining a broad range of skill from marketing, design, production management and financial planning to fulfillment and direct marketing. The Print Cafe is Anita's vision of a one stop shop for elevating your company brand or creating a brand. Specializing in the production of all publications, signs, apparel and promotional products, for business operations, she has combined dynamic marketing concepts, and on demand printing and graphic design all under one roof. Mrs. Marco is a Licensed Real Estate Agent with Canterbury Real Estate. She has a unique set of skills to promote and market properties to get it sold at the highest possible price. Mrs. Marco combines her marketing skills to promote properties and get them the best exposure. She specializes in guiding seniors through the delicate and stressful process of selling their properties with the utmost care and respect. She offers her personal and professional expertise to find them the buyer that meets both their financial expectations and their emotional attachments to the property. She guides them in transitioning to the next Chapter in their lives and assists with finding the perfect residence for this segment of the population. Mrs. Marco served on the Committee for the United Cerebral Palsy Fashion Show in September 2014. She is on the United Cerebral Palsy Fashion Show for September 2015. She supports the Lutheran Social Services Food Pantry in Uniondale. She is on the Planning Committee for “Your Time for Creative Empowerment” Scholarship Dinner and she supports the Lutheran Counseling Center of Long Island. Mrs. Marco graduated from SUNY Stony Brook with a Masters in Science from the Averell Harriman School of Business and Public Policy. She was the recipient of the “Outstanding Thesis” from her Department, and has been published in the Newsday and the Herald, and featured in Long Island Business News.
