Perfect Circle
James Lee, President
Wow~ look at that moon!
Last week, as we were returning home after taking
our guest to the airport in the early morning hours,
my wife shouted those words with excitement and
surprise.
So called “super moon” was about to set in the
west over the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains. It
was so big that we couldn’t believe our own eyes. I
am not sure how perfectly circular that moon was
but it sure was the most beautifully rounded huge
moon.
Our awesome God lead HanheeKim World
Mission Center to Peru in a most amazing and
incredible way. We began our “Children of Jesus”
ministry there in 1998 but the full scale of work
did not begin until 2000. The work that started
only with a handful of children in the beginning
grew to be thousands in a short time.
Then, in 2005, our God brought 50,000 needy and
poor children together into one giant stadium and
told them how much He loved them. Through
“Peru to Christ 2005” all of those children
accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts.
And another five years later, our God invited
5,000 young people to a powerful and the Holy
Spirit filled youth conference, “Abba Peru 2010.”
God miraculously opened the door to an armored
vehicle military base in Lima and all the youth
committed their lives for the work of the Lord as
they were ignited with the fire of the Holy Spirit.
And now, five more years has passed since then.
Our God is stirring and inspiring our hearts to
establish a Youth Missionary Training Center in
Peru. He wants to thoroughly equip and train the
young people to go wherever the Holy Spirit will
lead them.
Ahhh~ as it has always been, this is an impossible
task for us in our current situation. But when we
saw the super-moon last week, the Holy Spirit
gave me a new understanding. Our God’s creation
involved a complete circle. The earth is circular,
and so is moon. There aren’t any rectangular or
triangular stars in the universe. Furthermore, moon
circles around the earth, and the earth circles
around the sun. Man is from the dust and goes
back to the dust. Sea waters rises to skies as vapors
and comes down in the form of rain or snow
before running back to the sea through the streams
and rivers.
Holy Spirit made me realize that the Youth
Missionary Training Center is the last piece of the
complete circle that our God wants to draw in
the calling of HanheeKim World Mission Center
to the land and people of Peru. So many hungry
and suffering lives had become the “Children of
Jesus” by the amazing grace of our Lord, growing
up with new hopes and dreams. Now, they will go
back to the unfortunate and poor children in the
name of Jesus, filled with the love and compassion
of God! It is a complete circle!
I clinched my fist and shouted “hallelujah” with
great excitement. Wow! This is amazing work of
our God! It is a perfect circle that only our God
can draw!
Of course, we have long ways to go. We must
build or find a place, trainers must be ready, and
trainees need to be selected. But this time I am
filled with faith that our God, who made the
impossible possible in the past twenty years, will
do this again. God will send harvest workers who
will join Him where He is working to accomplish
His will. Then, I think our work in Peru will be
completed. I am not sure where He will lead us
then but the Holy Spirit is stirring our heart for
the land and people of India, a place totally on the
other side of the rounded earth. And He will start
to draw another perfect circle there.
I can already see and envision 500 or more totally
dedicated missionaries from Peru going to the
utmost parts of this rounded world five years from
now in 2020. And I can hear people shouting,
“Look! It is the most perfect circle of His love!”
for our God is perfect God! Hallelujah!
