DEBRA ANDERSON, a digital media, strategy and
marketing consultant, is a founding partner of the
PeaceTechLab, in collaboration with INCORE at the
University of Ulster. In 2013, she created, and taught,
the first Big Data Consumer Research course at The
New School for Public Engagement.
RANEY ARONSON-RATH, executive producer of
Frontline, PBS’ flagship investigative journalism series,
has been internationally recognized for her work to reimagine the documentary form across multiple media
platforms. Aronson-Rath has developed and managed
more than a dozen journalistic partnerships with news
outlets including ProPublica, PBS Marketplace, PBS
NewsHour, The New York Times, and CBC Television .
PATRICIA AUFDERHEIDE who teaches at the
School of Communication at American University, is
the founder-director of the Center for Media & Social
Impact. Aufderheide currently sits on the board
of directors of the Independent Television Service,
which produces innovative television programming
for underserved audiences under the umbrella of the
Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
KASIA CIEPLAK-MAYR VON BALDEGG is the
executive producer for video at The Atlantic. She
joined the magazine in 2011 to launch its video
channel and, in 2013, created its in-house video
production department. Previously, she worked as a
producer at Al Gore’s Current TV and as a content
strategist and documentary producer in San Francisco.
