greater & greener parks conference
It was with great pride and honor that we hosted
Greater & Greener 2015: Innovative Parks,
Vibrant Cities, an international conference focusing
on issues and opportunities facing urban parks and
green spaces around the world, in April.
Presented in partnership with the City Parks Alliance
and several Bay Area park management districts,
Greater & Greener 2015 featured more than 150
speakers and more than 1,000 participants from
200 cities and 20 countries.
The conference included more than 80 sessions, park
tours, and events over a four-day period, allowing
participants to share the innovation that is taking
place in cities throughout the world and creating a
foundation for exploring new policies, new funding,
and new partnerships to support city park
creation, management and stewardship.
