In the clincher at sixth singles, Griffin snuck by Williams in a second set tiebreaker to take the match 6-1, 7-6. In the unfinished matches, Jeong-Min Jeon was up a set against Vitale at the fith spot while 41st-ranked Tobar was just two games away from a victory at second singles against seventh-ranked Liu. PBC Elite 15 Award Presented by GradesFirst Monica Gonzalez Rallo, Augusta ITA Southeast Region Awards Wilson/ITA Assistant Coach of the Year Rodrigo Puebla, Flagler College Seven PBC Women’s Tennis Players Named ITA All-Americans TEMPE, ARIZ -- Seven Peach Belt Conference women’s tennis players were named All-Americans as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its final national rankings for the 2015-16 season. To be named an All-American, a player must be ranked in the top 20 in singles or in the top 10 in doubles. Armstrong State, who won their 10th national championship this spring, led the way with four All-Americans. Lena Lutzeier was the only PBC player to earn All-America honors for both singles and doubles as she was the highest-ranked singles player in the PBC at #4 in the nation and part of the #3-ranked doubles team with partner Diana Stomlega. Columbus State had the other three PBC All-Americans as Beatriz Leon was ranked #11 in singles and the doubles team of Camila Tobar and Kirsa Utech were ranked eighth.
