The branch is comprised of four teams: • 100+ data agreements produced • Management and Governance - providing strategic planning, policy, governance and fiscal management for information, communication and technology to the Toowoomba Regional Council • Application Services – providing management and support of Council’s Electronic Document Management System (DM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Geo-Spatial Information System (GIS), People Property Rates System (PPR), Corporate Electronic Workflow, Business Intelligence and Line of Business applications • Information Management • Document Management Services - operational management and coordination of Council’s Document Management services and systems • Geo-Spatial Information Services - operational management and coordination of Council’s GeoSpatial Information Services and systems • Technology Services - providing operational management and support of Council’s underlying Information Communication Technology infrastructure. Some key figures from the branch for 2015-16 include: • Total documents registered in Electronic Document Management System – 5,659,279 68 CHAPTER 3 Our organisation • Software applications – five core application systems, 25 line of business applications and innumerable tier three (niche) applications • Service desk activity – responded to 11,810 requests and supported 9,973 faults • Service availability – 99.98 per cent (average of all systems availability) • Internet usage (Web/Email/TRC services) : 1.55 Terabytes of traffic per month • Physical servers and virtual servers - 43 physical, 453 virtual • 188 print devices supported • Microwave connectivity availability – 99.90 per cent (average of availability) • Number of IP Phones: 1,092 (telephone handsets) • Two-way radio – 13 Repeaters, 12 base stations, 520 vehicle-based and 20 handheld radios. Network Connectivity: • 22 fibre connected sites (TRC fibre) • 3 fibre connected sites (leased fibre) • 3 Ethernet copper connected sites • 32 Ethernet radio/microwave connected sites • 15 Telstra IPWAN connected sites • 9+ direct to internet connected sites.
