Cr Anne Glasheen is serving her third term on
Toowoomba Regional Council and is the Planning and
Development portfolio leader. Cr Glasheen was Deputy
Mayor of the former Clifton Shire Council prior to local
government amalgamations in 2008, holds a Diploma of
Local Government Administration and has had more than
20 years’ experience in local government.
Anne is the chair of the Heritage Advisory Committee
and sits on the Pest Management Advisory Committee,
International Relations Committee and the Development
Industry Reference Group.
Born in Allora, Anne and her husband have operated a
business in Clifton for more than 25 years and has served
a number of terms on two government boards at state and
national level holding executive positions. Cr Glasheen
enjoys motorcycle riding and is an avid supporter of the
Red Hatters.
