Council ' s Cash and Cash Equivalents are subject to a number of Internal and External Restrictions that limit amounts available for discretionary or future use . These include :
Internally imposed Expenditure Restrictions at the reporting date : Funds Set Aside by Council and held in Reserves for Future Projects

Cash at bank is held in normal business accounts at the Commonwealth Bank . Deposits at call are held at the Commonwealth Bank , Queensland Treasury Corporation and Bendigo Bank . Term deposits are held at the Commonwealth Bank , National Australia Bank , Suncorp Bank , Bendigo Bank , Bank of Queensland and Heritage Bank . Short term credit ratings of the above financial institutions range from A1 + and long term rating of AA- .
