Revelle Became Nebraska's All-Time Wins Leader
The 2013 Nebraska softball season was an overwhelming success, culminating with
the program's seventh appearance in the Women's College World Series. The Huskers
compiled a 45-16 record and finished with a No. 8 national ranking while facing the
toughest non-conference schedule in the nation, according to the NCAA RPI.
With a talented roster that featured seven freshmen - tied for the most in school history
- Nebraska opened its season with cautious optimism. The Huskers' depth helped make
up for a lack of experience, and NU opened the season 9-1, with a one-run loss at No. 16
Arizona as its only setback.
