TIME TO FEAST!

So much of our celebratory culture is based around food. Regardless of your religious affiliation, or which holiday you celebrate, chances are high that a feast will be one of the highlights of the day. Unfortunately, that can make the day equally as frustrating and disappointing for families living with food allergies.

To help families come together and break bread (maybe gluten, dairy free bread) without shedding tears, Samantha Seagreaves has compiled a list of substitutions for three of the big allergy-causing foods: dairy, wheat flour, and eggs.

Here's to a delicious and safe family meal!

Dairy

* Almond milk

* Soy milk

* Coconut milk

* Rice milk

* Oat milk

* Butter milk substitute (your milk substitute plus 1 tsp of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar)

* Butter substitute ( avocado, coconut oil, canola oil, olive oil)
