Catharine Arthur used to love feeding the many varieties of wild birds that visited
her Edmonton home throughout the summer. “Someone has to take care of them,”
she told her friend of over 40 years, Alice Romaniuk. “That’s
how Catharine was with people,” recalls Alice. “If
someone needed help, she would help them. She
was the most generous person I ever met.”
