never hinged, very fine to extremely fine. Scott cat value of
$1200 is for 8 singles and does not reflect true rarity as Plate
Block. There are very few nice ‘broken hat’ plate blocks in
existence. (2011 PSE Cert #01244005 for plate block of 10).
