Assembled by a true philatelic student, in addition to the basic Scott listed stamps, the collector has identified various printing, papers, overprint settings etc. For example, for the 1918-19 overprinted issues (Scott #15-26) he collected both overprint spacings, as well as a pages of vertical shifts, horizontal shifts, and mangled letters, all identified by spacing types. Additional material includes privately perforated issues; the Gniezno provisionals used are expertized by Dr. Bohne and Jungjohann/BPP; B11-14 NH expertized; 1919 and 1921 issues with various paper types identified; 1921 surcharged 3m/40t with different spacings, shifts, broken ‘k,’ and double surcharge; 1921 Constitution issue with misperfs & other varieties; and on and on, with shifts, setoffs, watermark varieties, and more. Includes nice variety of issues with some duplication, for Azores, Angola, Cape Verde, Portuguese Guinea & India, Lourenco Marques, Inhambane, Ponta Delgada, Mozambique & Mozambique Company, Macau, Nyassa, St. Thomas & Prince Islands and Timor. Lots of Ceres, common design types and colorful topicals.
