common counterfeits & reprints in Classic Iran. Highlights

1948-66 PARALLEL TABBED & SINGLES
COLLECTIONS ............................................................ $250-350

Clean and useful collections of Israel in two White Aces albums.
First for TABS collection, including First Festival Issue, 1950
Independence Day and much more. Virtually complete from
1955 onward. Second collection essentially complete mint and
used singles collection, including a few souvenir sheets.
Highlights include first Coins issue, First Dues (used) and mint
Coin and Newspaper souvenir sheets. All stamps hinged. Total
catalog value well over $1,700.

1948-65 SMALL COLLECTION IN MINKUS ALBUM

Small mixed Mint & Used collection hinged in Minkus album.
Some MINT never hinged in glassines at back along with a
few covers. Album divided into two parts, first part for singles
and second part for tab singles. The Tab singles from 1958-63.
Covers are FDC &/or correspondence with people in US during
the 1950s. Includes Scott #16 OG, hinged & 187 OG, hinged
& C18-26 with tabs OG, hinged. Cat $250.

1948-97 STAMP & FDC COLLECTIONS ............. $600-800

Two overlapping, yet complimentary collections. Plus FDC/
cover collection of more than 400 covers, with many better, on
stock pages in 5 Prinz binders with slipcases. The two
collections include: (1) MINT collection with some duplication
(years 1949-97) in mounts on Minkus & Novus album pages
in 5 White Ace binders, Tabbed issues begins with 1951 High
Holidays Scott #52-54 MH and continues with MNH tabbed
beginning around year 1980, through year 1997. Collection
includes some earlier issues without tabs. Appears nearly
complete for singles, sets & S/S, plus complete booklets Bale
B.19 - B.28. A few highlights include (by Scott): Running Stag
tete-beche pair #32b MH, Coins 45p #59 MNH tete-beche pair,
block & gutter block, American Zionist’s House #65 MNH
tab, Figs #66-69 MNH tabs (cv $26), unwatermarked Zodiacs
#133-36B MNH tabs ($42), 1989 Special Occasions #1059-61
complete booklets (Bale B.20-22, total cv $90), more. (2) MINT
collection (years 1948-97) with select singles & sets in mounts
on album pages in binder & loose including several complete
sheets not found in first collection. A few MNH sheet highlights

1985 ISRAPHIL S/S with FIP overprints MS.29x-31x ($90),
1986 Israel Philharmonic IrS.30 ($30), Greetings tete-beche

including 50th Anniversary End of WWII MIN.101 ($250) &
miniature sheet FDC, 1995 Rabin #1195 sheet of 15 ($45).
Some FDC highlights (by Bale): Typesetter IrS.20 ($80), Town

B.16 ($30 each), PD6-11 ($100) and more. Good variety,
expect some duplication, overall fine to very fine.

ACCUMULATION ........................................................ $300-400

Four volumes plus a small box containing a clean/attractive
collection of Israel. We note extensive 1970s-early 1990s new
issues which include tab strips of 5 plus souvenir sheets in
small quantities, earlier issues in stock books mainly MINT
never hinged although a few of the earl y issues noted previously
hinged or CTO. Looks like someones subscribed for the
1970s-early nineties and rarely, if ever, placed the material in
a master collection. Large original cost and catalog value,
especially for the tab strips. Generally fine to very fine.
