rates. Santaniello and Holmes each join Brittany Wolf (2011) and Ashley Seal (2012) as the only Armstrong volleyball players to earn a spot on the AVCA’s annual All-America teams. The Peach Belt Conference’s Player of the Year in 2013 and one of only six players to earn All-Peach Belt honors all four years of her career, Santaniello was the only player to rank in the Top 10 in the league in kills (395), kills per set (3.24), service aces per set (0.36) and hitting percentage (.255). An AVCA honrable mention All-American honoree as a junior, Santaniello became the all-time kills leader at Armstrong in 2013 and finished her carerer with 1,524, which ranks seventh all-time in the Peach Belt Conference. The Boca Raton, Fla., native also ended her career with 1,666 digs, which ranks second all-time in Armstrong history and 11th in PBC history, as well as setting Armstrong’s all-time record for most sets played with 538. Holmes, meanwhile, earns her first AVCA All-American honor for completing an outstanding season in which she led the Peach Belt Conference and ranked third in NCAA Division II in hitting percentage at .389. The hitting percentage is the fifth-highest in Armstrong history for a single season and her career hitting percentage of .340 is fourth all-time at Armstrong and 12th all-time in the Peach Belt Conference. The Flowery Branch, Ga., native was a first-team All-Peach Belt Confernece, AVCA and Daktronics/CoSIDA first-team All-Region honoree in 2013. Pando delivered 1,353 assists in 2013, an average of 11.09 per set that led the Peach Belt Conference and ranked 19th in NCAA Division II this season. The Oviedo, Fla., native was the 2013 PBC Setter of the Year and was a five-time PBC Specialist of the Week honoree this season.
