Fair Lawn is scattered with historical
treasures, ground-breaking suburban
planning and a close-knit community. Many
immigrant groups including Russian Jews,
have found a home here. Within Fair Lawn is
a unique community called Radburn. It was
one of the first modern planned communities
in the United States and was intended
originally to be a self-sufficient entity.
Fair Lawn has a vibrant business district
on River Road and the Broadway District
with a variety of restaurants and small shops.

Located in southeastern Bergen County,
the borough has welcomed immigration
and varying cultural influences throughout
the years, giving the community a diverse
identity. The name Fairview came from the
picturesque views across the Hackensack
River Valley. After eighth grade, local
students attend high school in Cliffside Park.
