AUTISM

SUPER SUPPLEMENT MitoSpectra is designed to boost dysfunctional cells in the hope of
improving the abilities of people with autism.
to reduce some of the behavioral
symptoms of autism, through psychotropic medications, for example, but
I think the future will look at a whole
other set of approaches that work on
improving many different aspects of
the child’s health.”
For Hasson, who knows firsthand
the difference the supplement can
make in a child’s life, she wants
mitochondria to become a household
word.
“Just like you know what a probiotic is or an Omega-3, we need to
create awareness of mitochondrial
dysfunction so that parents and physicians know it’s real and that we can
do something about it,” Hasson says.
“Then we can intervene early and
really change a child’s trajectory.”
And Jake, who went back on the
supplement four years ago, is now a
thriving, sporty seventh grader with
lots of friends.
“He just had his bar mitzvah, and
he blew it out the water,” Hasson says,
beaming with pride. “There wasn’t a
dry eye in the room.” ●
