Wolfe belongs to online groups for parents of children with special needs , and she is very involved with the Mary ThereseRose Fund . The fund was established in honor and then in memory of the daughterofone of Sydney ’ s physical therapists . Mary ThereseRose passed away in 2003 from Joubert syndrome , arare disease . The fund pays for therapies and equipment that insurance doesn ’ t cover for childrenwho need it , and they have afundraiser each October .
Wolfe has aB . S . and M . A . in early childhoodeducation and was akindergarten teacher before she had children . My Holly cameout in 2011 , and Wolfe is grateful that the book has been well received and is helping other families cope with adifficult situation .
