NEWS & NOTES YMCA Welcomes Jessica Malas as the new Early Childhood Education Director The YMCA of Greater Bergen County is happy to announce that Jessica Malas (Jersey City)has joined the Professional Leadership team as the Early Childhood Education Director. Malas has been working in the Early Childhood field since 2001 after graduating from St. Bonaventure University with a BS in Education. She also holds dual certifications in both New Jersey and New York. Jessica’s has more than 14 years of experience in the early childhood education field and served as classroom teacher for 11 years in both a public and private school settings. Recently her professionalism, leadership and commitment to children and families lead her to becoming the Administrator and Director of Beyond Basic Learning: The International School in Hoboken and then Paradigm Kids in Lower Manhattan.
