The second floor master bedroom is painted in Benjamin Moore’s Hale
Navy, a rich dark color that Laurie accentuated with neutral bed linens and
window treatments. The king-sized Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams bed sits
on top of a colorful over-dyed carpet with shades of blue and green. A
Jonathon Adler circle chandelier hangs in the center of the room, boasting
polished brass, ebony wood and a tan shade. The original bay window,
complete with custom Roman shades, allows plenty of natural light into
the room. At the end of the bed is a white Jonathon Adler dresser with
a Z Gallery gold-tone starburst mirror above it. Leading into the master
bathroom is a vestibule with two double-door mirrored closets – a transition seen throughout the house that keeps spaces open, yet provides
much needed delineation between rooms. Hidden pocket doors allow
privacy when needed in the en suite.
